MED Fado

• One of the great innovations, in musical terms, in the 12th edition of the Festival MED will be the MED Fado, the recreation of a Fado House, in the Cloisters of the Convent, with local fado singers. This is intended as a tribute to the Fado as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2011). More than a musical style, Fado is part of the Portuguese soul and is a key element of our tradition so its presence in the Festival MED will also be another way to promote the Portuguese culture.
