• Experience a Creative Loulé at the sound of the Festival Med

  The "Loulé Criativo" challenges the visitors of the Festival Med to experience the culture of Loulé through their participation in activities related to the art, handicraft, gastronomy and heritage.
  During the four days of this Mediterranean culture festival, you can participate in workshops of traditional arts, paintings with chalk paint, creation of postcards with handwriting, decorative panels in sgraffito and also to experience the honey cycle.
  From the 25th June, follow the artistic intervention that the illustrator from Loulé Filipe Coelho will make on a panel which is drawn live using the chalk paints.
  Visit the Loulé Criativo space in the Festival Med, in Bicas Velhas, and meet this initiative.

• Loulé Creative activities within the Festival Med

  25th, 26th, 27th and 28th June / 07:30 pm  - 09:30 pm / live illustration of a wall with chalk paint / Filipe Coelho (Loulé Criativo Space (Bicas Velhas)
  The “louletano” artist Filipe Coelho will be drawing live a panel dedicated to Loulé, using an unusual material, but closely related to the traditional architecture: the chalk paints.

  While the illustrator Filipe Coelho draws live, make sure you learn to make coloured chalk-based paints and natural pigments and use them to create your own illustrations.

  The restaurant 11 da Villa will give you the opportunity of trying various combinations of tastes, colours, textures and flavours, a sample of the tapas dishes cooked  in the weekly workshops they use to  organize.

  A simple reed is a challenge to the imagination. The Algarvian people used this abundant natural resource to create the most curious and stimulating toys. Come to see and experience.
