  • MED Street Exhibition                                                                                                      “Conversação, Conversation, Conversazione...”
“ Bom dia !” “Hello”! “ Wie geht es !” “ Salut !” “ Come stai !” “ Dobar dan !” “ O zi buna !”... “Que bom ver-te! O que tens feito?“ and the conversation begins on a cafe terrace, around a table. People talk about the weather, the last book they read, the last movie they saw, the projects, the new store that opened ... The conversation flows ... But they also talk about philosophy, policy or innermost thoughts. .. The conversation takes place, it is unpredictable and that is why it is so good! Welcome to our Festival MED Street exhibition! Get surprised. Sit down with a drink for a moment ... Talk to friends and foreigners walking on the street... Take pictures ... Share smiles and ideas ... Talk ... Contact with each other ... There is no borders ... This is the spirit of the Festival!

In the exhibition " As flores abrem mais depressa ao domingo " Christine Henry presents an immensely separable theme, which is the fold. We can fold, unfold, refold constantly the spaces and temporality of experience, creating constant exchanges between the outer world and the inner world. It is between the infinitely large of Universe and the infinitely small of living.

  • Exhibition at the Municipal Museum of Loulé
"Traces of a story (yet) to tell..." by José Pires
In the historical record of an unintelligible secret, the museum. The careful regeneration of the subtle gesture, the almost imperceptible flake. In the apparent sinking of the voices, the discovery of the silent fire dancing tattooed on the skin of the ground.
When the lips stand, and the hands get tired of the noisy curve of days, sometimes, the reunion with the fountain happens in a bowl. The trace of a story yet to tell.

  • Exhibition at the Cloister of the Espírito Santo Convent
"Beyond the white" by Filipe da Palma
"There is a beauty that is given to us: the beauty of the sea, light, hills, animals, movements and people.
But there is also another beauty that man must create: it is the man who built the white wall where the light and the sky are drawn, beside the black of the ground.
The beauty is not a luxury for aesthetes, it is not an ornament of life, a useless adornment, a whim. The beauty is a necessity, a principle of education and joy. "
    Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen
